Deputy Manager - Quality

Ø Conduct inward inspection of materials received from vendors and clear them within 2-3 days as per SE sampling plan guidelines to enable Stores to prepare GRN

Ø Quality checks on cabinet assembly's day to day basis including power up checks, stage inspection in timely final QC clearance for shipment with records maintained as per progress till completion of each cabinet accordance to Eng drawings released by project team time to time.

Ø Comply to established quality processes in coordination with cabinet team, as per deadlines forecasted by projects/cabinet team time to time.

Ø Raise Material Failure Notes on any product not meeting specifications ordered by project team during inward inspections or power ON checks, coordinate with supply chain for replacements.

Ø Actively engage in preparing templates required by consultants and coordinate with vendors for collection of test/warranty/type/conformity certificates to meet project quality compliance.

Ø Maintain test equipment's and organize them calibrated in National labs before due dates.

Ø Coordinate with Quality Manager on timely conduct of internal and external quality audits at Chennai including closing of audits with documentary evidence collected from relevant functions and maintain records in adherence to ISO 9001:2008 standards.

Ø Continuously monitor compliance to existing processes as per QMS requirements and coordinate with all functions as per Quality Manager's instructions.

Ø Verify and clear Engg Docs on day to day basis and suggest corrections to project team as per procedures and ensure compliance.

Ø Need to travel at short notice to vendor/customer locations for quality evaluation and audits as per company's requirements.

Qualifications

Ø Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engg

Ø Internal Quality Auditor certification and auditing skills preferred.

Ø Familiar in working with Microsoft Office tools and knowledge in advanced Excel knowledge and developing power point presentations for data analysis is also expected.

Ø Prepare timely MIS reports as required by Quality manager for domestic and APAC reporting.
