We are seeking a Nashville-based for a Derivative Onboarding Coordinator to join our Derivative Compliance team.
Describe the role:
The account onboarding coordinator will be responsible for working with our sales and product development teams, portfolio management, middle office and operations, trading desk and other relevant internal stakeholders to prioritize and complete outstanding account onboarding to our derivatives agreements. The role be responsible for driving our team's agenda with our derivatives counterparties and custodians to ensure we are meeting our target launch dates, while successfully managing our dealer relationships and acting as a knowledgeable resource for the firm with regards to the status of your workflow items. You will work closely with the rest of the Derivatives Compliance team to understand which accounts will be covered on the agreements the negotiator is working on, and ensure agreements are properly recorded in our systems once executed and ready for trading.
The onboarding coordinator will be responsible to onboard accounts to our derivatives agreements (including ISDA, MSFTA, Futures, Clearing, Listed Options, Prime Brokerage and GMRA/MRA). Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
You will be dedicated, assertive, organized and highly professional. The candidate will ideally have a combination of derivatives industry experience, trading agreement negotiation experience, onboarding experience, relationship management skills, and practical business insight.

The Derivatives Compliance team is dynamic group responsible for the monitoring, implementation, and compliance of derivatives regulation, the negotiation and execution of all derivative trading agreements, the onboarding of derivative trading accounts with ABs dealers, and the management of all related data. This is a collaborative team geared towards knowledge sharing and efficiency, providing ongoing support to the business.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate the onboarding of accounts with our derivative dealers. This will include maintaining an accurate and detailed matrix of the progress and problems encountered for each account, driving our team's agenda with the dealers while successfully managing our dealer relationships, and acting as a knowledgeable resource for the firm with regards to the status of your workflow items
- Assist with ad-hoc projects that may involve assisting in the negotiation of a new agreement type in response to regulatory developments, coordinating with various other teams in the firm (i.e. portfolio management, operations, IT and sales), or complex data management and organization
- Act as a knowledgeable resource for information regarding derivatives trading agreements and derivatives regulation for the firm

Qualifications, Experience, Education:
- Undergraduate diploma required
- Solid organizational skills and a high degree of professionalism combined with the ability to readily adapt to rapidly changing environments and deal with competing priorities
- Working knowledge of advanced excel functions (v-lookups and pivot tables) and Microsoft Word are required and non-negotiable. Working knowledge of Workshare Compare is desirable but not required
- Team player with demonstrated experience building and maintaining good working relationships both internally and externally.
- Knowledge of derivatives products, agreements and regulations is desirable but not required
- Familiarity with various fund structures (mutual funds, pooled funds, private funds, UCITS, and institutional accounts) is desirable but not required
