Dermatology Physician Assistant - Privately Owned Practice

We are seeking an experienced dermatology Physician Assistant to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dermatology and be comfortable performing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with board-certified dermatologists in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive skin exams, diagnose and treat a variety of dermatologic conditions.
• Perform dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and other minor surgical procedures
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide patient education regarding skin care and disease prevention.
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with supervising dermatologists and clinical staff to ensure quality and continuity of care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dermatologic treatments, medications, and best practices.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Licensure:
  • Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of Florida.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2–3 years of dermatology experience in a clinical setting (required).
• Skills:
  • Proficient in dermatologic procedures and skin exams.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable managing a high-volume patient schedule.
