Accountabilities:
- Investigate and resolve root causes of incidents in critical system modules, reducing recurrence and improving platform stability.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET and C#, with a focus on performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Prepare client environments, configure integrations, and implement solutions using REST APIs, messaging platforms, and webhooks.
- Create and maintain automated tests, including unit, integration, and regression testing, to ensure software reliability and quality.
- Enhance system observability through logging, monitoring, metrics, and tracing practices to improve incident response and reduce downtime.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and collaborate with team members through mentoring and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Work closely with business, implementation, and customer-facing teams to prioritize tasks, define technical scope, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies, remove technical blockers, and support adherence to SLAs and quality standards.
- Contribute to vendor governance activities, including technical validation, scope reviews, and acceptance criteria assessments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; postgraduate studies are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development using .NET (C#), including work with critical systems and legacy codebases.
- Strong expertise in ASP.NET Core, background services, and software modernization initiatives.
- Solid experience with SQL Server, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, messaging systems (such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus), OAuth2, and OpenID.
- Knowledge of software architecture principles, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, modular systems, and design patterns.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit or nUnit.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Azure cloud services, Git, and version control best practices.
- Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Scrum, Kanban, and agile software development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
