We are looking for a talented Design Drafter to join our team specializing in Product Design for our Cummins Power Generation in Fridley, Minnesota.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Create and maintain specifications (drawings and models) of Cummins products per company, industry, national, and international standards, while positively impacting the organization's performance.
• Ensure model and drawing quality.
• Create and maintain product specifications utilizing Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing.
• Utilize Computer Aided Design (CAD) data management tools for configuration control and to maintain security.
• Ensure application of company, industry, national, and international standards.
• Process internal engineering work requests.
• Engage with required functional areas as needed.
• Participate in the maintenance of standards and practices which ensure quality.
• Participate in Drawing Quality Reviews.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Must have experience with Windchill and Creo.
• Broad/Advanced knowledge of typical industry related Drafting Standards, Design Specifications, Engineering Standards, Industry Standards, and Product Lifecycle Management Related Policies-Procedures (Windchill).
• Familiar with the principles, techniques, and procedures and effective utilization of CAD Data Management and Product Lifecycle Management (Windchill) methods, systems, and/or applications.
• Creo Parametric: Familiar with the principles, techniques, and procedures of the Creo 8 (or greater) Parametric CAD tool. Can utilize the basic to moderate elements of the application with limited assistance

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
