Your Responsibilities
As a Design Engineer for Global Crop Harvestinglocated in East Moline, IL you will be working on harvester systems aimed to feed and clothe the world. This position will be a part of the Crop Processing team for combines, as a team member you will:
- Innovate, evaluate, and implement design solutions to improve performance, quality and cost of the crop processing modules.
- Collaborate cross functionally and globally for project development, verification, and implementation.
Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.
What Skills You Need
- Internships, relevant course work, and/or practical experience related to mechanical part design
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse cultures, interpersonal styles, abilities, and backgrounds.
- Experience with 3D modeling software
- Experience with or desire to learn grain harvesting operations
- Able and willing to travel up to 25%, domestically and/or internationally, based on business needs
What Makes You Stand Out
- Skilled user of Creo Parametric
- Combine or other off-highway vehicle development experience
- 1 or more years of vehicle system design, integration, and/or testing experience
- Knowledge of product development process
- Experience working with virtual and global team members
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
