New Product Development - Controls Enabling Team is integral to the success of defining and bringing innovative products to market. We are seeking a motivated individual to support the design, test, and development of new product lines and features. The most important impacts this position has on the organization relate to the success of our new products, the features they deliver, and the speed at which they are brought to market. This position will be a key member on cross-functional teams to deliver the Controls Design Engineering associated with New Product Development.

Primary Responsibilities
As a Design Engineer II, you will need to utilize various product development and project management techniques and technologies to deliver best-in-class luxury appliances for our customers.
- Active member of the New Product Development team with a willingness to work with internal and external customers.
- Generate and convert ideas into working design solutions while working independently and within cross functional teams.
- Provide and present design solutions for review by product and management teams.
- Direct/evaluate designs through 3D modeling, drafting, simulation and testing.
- Create product specifications and requirements.
- Determine, execute, and analyze product tests to achieve the desired requirements.
- Conduct cost analysis and feasibility studies to make sound decisions.
- Engage/work-with cross-functional teams to leverage expertise and knowledge for robust designs.
- Plan, schedule and organize your workload.
- Direct, review, and approve work done by Designers and Drafters.
- Write and manage engineering change requests and notices.
- Self-starter who can satisfy goals and timelines.
- Write purchase requisitions and approve vendor invoices.
