Are you our next Design Fellow?
We are looking for future industry superstars to join our growing studio. The Design Fellow will think like a “design sponge.” A positive, vocal, hard-working recent graduate to join our studio, with energy to bounce from project to project as you support designers and are exposed to all aspects of the design process.

Our Fellow roles are full-time, fully integrated positions. They are onboarded and assigned a manager, and are resourced to client work. It is set up as a 3 month contract to start, paid hourly, with the possibility of extending and/or converting to a salaried employee position.

The role
We are looking for a creative who loves ideas and can contribute to our culture. A high level thinker that is not afraid to get their hands dirty. You will develop design concepts, design execution, audits, presentation production and all around general support. The better the attitude, the more exciting the work that will come your way.

Your Day To Day

  • Design/idea conception/design execution (with direction and guidance from supervisor)
  • To assist designers in day-to-day projects, which may include:
  • Researching
  • Assembling client presentations
  • Presenting your work in internal critiques

Our Expectations

  • You should have a strong interest in branding and experience design and be familiar with creating brand expression work.
  • 0 -1 year of professional experience; branding or marketing agency experience is a plus
  • Study and/or experience in graphic design or related field
  • Strong design, verbal, organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with digital design and motion graphics
  • Understanding of typography, layout, form and color
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn
  • Strong work ethic
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good sense of humor

NOTE: This is a hybrid role and requires you to be in our NYC office 2-3 days per week

Compensation

  • Hourly rate of $30/hour
  • This range represents the low and high end of the hourly salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Interbrand in the United States. Rates will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; other business and organizational needs. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
