What We Need
In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining and designing assets, including print and digital collateral, emails, newsletters, product packaging and other related content. Working closely with copywriters and other creative team members, you will be asked to create branded materials that clearly communicate our business objectives and elevate the overall Brady customer experience.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver design work on myriad elements, including but not limited to; brochures, info sheets, PDF, slide presentations, advertisements, banners, emails, packaging,
  • product branding, retail displays, catalogs, social media, video, event exhibits, logos, sales enablement tools, eBooks, whitepapers
  • Prioritize customer needs based on multiple business objectives from internal stakeholders
  • Work with speed and accuracy in an agile environment to accommodate fast turn-around
  • Coordinate with design and marketing peers in globally-distributed offices
  • Consult with internal stakeholders on design approach and persuade stakeholders to embrace recommended design approach
  • Take direction and implement improvements from peers, superiors and stakeholders
  • Gain experience arranging all stages of image collection from photoshoot coordination and art direction through image processing to utilization of images in traditional and digital formats
  • Learn to be comfortable with both the artistic-leaning and data-leaning design projects
  • Pivot frequently between customers, industries, segments and product categories inside a varied business representing more than 50,000 products
  • Learn how to manage supplier relationships including printers, photographers, image processors and translators
  • Be a steward of brand guidelines with passion for consistency and growing investment in branding across the organization
  • Learn how to build a brand roadmap which enhances and elevates the brand and experience over time


What You'll Do

  • Working toward a Degree in Graphic Design or a related field of study or similar work experience
  • Must provide a portfolio of past projects that reflects your passion and skills
  • Must participate in a sample project assigned by Brady if selected as a finalist
  • Independent thinking with a strong point of view
  • Ability to (learn how to) connect strategy to creative designs and ideas
  • A drive to learn a strategic approach to creative, and apply thinking and learnings to inform brand strategy, messaging, and concepts
  • A demonstrated love of learning, always seeking to stay current on design practices specifically in the industrial product category through organizations, publications and visual audits of competitive and complementary products
  • A willingness to push yourself and others to take calculated risks, and contribute to an environment that supports a test and learn mentality
  • The drive to raise the bar for design at Brady through a curious approach, a resilient mindset and a contagious enthusiasm to go wherever the ideas take us
  • Some knowledge of print production and printing processes - and the "want to" to learn
  • Ability to independently manage workload

  • Experience designing for industrial products sold through distributor networks
  • Experience designing for eCommerce businesses
  • Experience in designing highly-structured, part-detail-heavy brochures and catalogs
