The intern will be seated within the Goldmind team, Synchrony's internal creative studio.
They will partner with and support Copywriters, Producers, Art Directors, ACD, Account Managers and Clients. In this role, the intern will have the opportunity to support the ACD with a variety of projects, ranging from advertising campaigns to internal communications. In addition to assisting with projects, the intern will have one dedicated project that they will focus on during their time here and have the opportunity to present to leadership at the end of their internship.
This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. We're proud to offer you choice and flexibility.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Work in a collaborative environment with peers, colleagues, managers and clients
- Manage and/or serve as a contributor on a variety of projects including but not limited to:
- national advertising campaigns (trade/consumer)
- executive leadership presentations
- new marketing initiatives
- print and digital corporate image campaigns
- new business development initiatives
- internal corporate communications
- brand identity development and campaigns
- corporate events
- video and multimedia
- experiential design and web initiatives such as website design
- digital dashboards, mobile apps, email campaigns and banner ads
- Follow timelines and internal processes for each and every project
- Present work internally among peers, colleagues, managers and clients
- Implement creative design best practices
- Offer new ideas for creative processes and collaboration
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Marketing, Communications, or relevant major
- Excellent academic record - Minimum overall 3.0 GPA or higher
- Available for a minimum of 10 to 12 consecutive weeks
- Must be able to work minimum of 40 hour week
- Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop & Premiere
- Knowledge of XD or Sketch is a bonus

Grade/Level: 04
The hourly rate range for this position is $20.50 - $25.50/hr USD
Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be 18 years or older
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
- You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
- New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
