Design Manager

As a Design Manager (Lead) at Brightscout, you embody the pinnacle of leadership and creativity, guiding our design team to deliver exceptional branding, app development, and digital design projects. Strategic Leadership and Vision

• Develop and implement a cohesive design strategy that aligns with Brightscout's business goals and client needs.
• Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional design skills while encouraging innovation and creative problem-solving within the team.

Team and Project Management

• Manage the design team's dynamics, ensuring a collaborative, productive, and inclusive atmosphere.
• Oversee design projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and exceed quality standards.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the design team and other departments, ensuring seamless integration and alignment on projects.

Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the design team meets their expectations.
• Play a critical role in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations, effectively communicating design concepts and strategies.

• A strategic thinker with a clear vision for driving design excellence within a dynamic agency environment.
• A proven leader with the ability to inspire, motivate, and direct a team towards achieving exceptional results.

Requirements

Professional and Leadership Experience

• +10 years of experience in design, with a significant portion in a leadership role within a branding, app development, or digital agency.
• A robust portfolio that demonstrates your expertise across a broad range of design disciplines, including digital.
• Proficiency in leading design software and project management tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Notion, Jira, and Slack.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, with continued education or certifications in leadership or project management highly regarded.

• Outstanding leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven track record of leading teams to success.
