Design Manager

At OnLogic we have ambitious business goals for company growth. The Design Manager needs to foster operational excellence by enabling the design team to think creatively while working efficiently, in support of the OnLogic vision of being the First Choice in Industrial Computing.

You would immediately dive in to manage the day-to-day of the design team spanning Personnel Management, Project and Task Management, Video, Graphic Design and Web Design. Each designer on the team has a different skill set with unique value. It is your job to leverage all of these talents to help build a brilliant brand. And as a player-coach on this small team, you will also artfully flex between leader and creator, continuing to leverage your own design talents.

On an average day, you'll

• Directly manage the design team, currently with 3 direct reports.
• Seek out process improvement opportunities for the design team's workflow.
• Enable professional development for the design team through open and honest feedback and development plans for employee growth and empowerment.
• Collaborate with your marketing leadership peers to understand new and existing products for campaigns each quarter, ensuring your team has what they need to support campaign goals while continuing to level up our brand.
• Project manage the Brand campaign across Marketing and Desi.
• Design and produce video content for our thought leadership and advertising initiatives.

Our talented Marketing and Ecommerce team has digital marketers, copywriters, designers and communication experts. As a team, we want to show the world why OnLogic is the first choice in industrial computing. Marketing is involved in developing marketing campagnes, producing stunning product catalogs, maintaining our social media channels, writing website content and laughing at each other's jokes on a daily basis.

Requirements

• You have repeatedly defined processes and achieved efficiency improvements within a team.
• You have piles of creative ideas that will fuel our designers and keep them pushing the boundaries in their work.
• You have an eye for detail.
• You are a strong project manager and communicator, who can work through teams to deliver excellence on-time and within budget.

Benefits

The salary range for this role is $70,000-$90,000. We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience. Besides a base salary we will offer you a comprehensive Benefits package which includes:
