Jockey is seeking a Design Operations Project Managerto join our Design team!

This position will work as a liaison to coordinate the design process from beginning to end. This role will also work cross-functionally on design-related process improvement projects.

This position will be located at our corporate headquarters in Kenosha, WI (between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI area).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ability to manage the design process through different teams within the organization in order to ensure the right information gets to the right place at the right time.
  • Transform strategy into trackable tasks.
  • Help break down and document current design workflow.
  • Act as key point of contact for design projects including directing resource assignments, timelines and addressing needs as they arise.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and design team to understand current processes and structure and to foster new perspectives and process improvements.
  • Define processes and identify process breakdowns, continually review and revise procedures and objectives as needed to improve operations.
  • Understand what successful change management looks like and have the ability to engage techniques to get change accomplished throughout the organization.
  • Utilize agile project management tactics and have the ability to execute using agile methodology.
  • Help to improve Jockey's go-to-market approach and maintain calendar adherence.
  • Work cross functionally on design related process improvement projects to ensure our success.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership.
  • Help to create clarity on ownership for each member's role within the design implementation process.
  • Set up metrics and scorecards to help deliver on accountabilities and execution for the organization.
  • Continue to improve and help develop the role for the future based on lean management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have the ability to lead projects cross-functionally and be able to build teams.
  • Ability to help shepherd change in process and get buy-in across the organization.
  • Ability and willingness to work in the office to lead change and foster relationships.
  • Ability to work with all personalities.
  • Good listening and communication skills.
  • People oriented, determined to assist where able.
  • Exhibit an ability to learn and interest in working through improved processes.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Must have the ability to maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office Suites computer skills with emphasis on Excel & Word
