The Opportunity

The Catalog team is essential to ensuring all events across the globe are available to our buyers and sellers to purchase and sell tickets. Accuracy and speed are critical as we create a robust catalog with every event in every language and currency. Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment is necessary to ensure strong site performance and customer experience. The North America Design Leader manages Design agents and Design OKRs to create configurations and the data associated and support the mapping of inventory to events, venues, and sections for buyers and sellers.


This role will be based in our New York City, NY office and has a hybrid (3 in-person days per week) work schedule. Please review the job description, qualifications, shift, and speak with your manager if you are an internal candidate prior to applying.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage and develop a team of Design agents (may include outsourcers or temporary staff) through coaching, 1:1s, team communication, and open and honest feedback
  • Manage and oversee all Design work (configuration creation, data creation, mapping, event and map updates, etc.)
  • Grow, foster, and maintain excellent relationships across the Design team and with internal partners to deliver against quarterly OKRs and Goals
  • Oversee the creation and update of all venue configurations including section and row levels (and their associated data)
  • Act as operations point of contact for all configuration data creation, updates, and escalations
  • Track and size all issues impacting processes, tools, and workflows associated with map data and be a subject matter expert to help drive the resolution of issues
  • Manage multiple projects at once while effectively prioritizing time
  • Review map design processes and deliver against opportunities to increase efficiency, quality, and speed
  • Support all Maps OKRs, initiatives, and projects and deliver against required timelines and service levels
  • Support and help create the Design team strategy that improves the customer experience and drives ticket sale

What You've Done:

  • Self-starter with the ability to execute on multiple projects and tasks
  • Be personable with the ability to build and maintain a trusting and professional relationship with your peers and direct reports
  • Strong ability to comprehend and understand processes
  • Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to prioritize and drive aggressive metrics, targets and deadlines
  • Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills – technical expertise in HTML, SQL, and design file types preferred.
  • Have strong organizational skills – ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Handle requests for site changes in addition to updating the catalog data when necessary – fix and troubleshoot issues that arise
  • Work with product teams on enhancing tools to improve speed and efficiency that drive revenue
  • Look for opportunities to improve internal processes that support both buyers and sellers
  • Support other functions where necessary to deliver a great ticket buying and selling experience
  • Flexibility, especially in a fast-changing environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Team player who is comfortable working with various departments
  • Be a passionate fan of all things live entertainment (concerts, festivals, musicals, plays, performing arts, sports)
  • Willing and able to work weekend

The anticipated gross base annual salary range for this role around $75,000 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
