The Design Room Coordinator works with Product Development, Merchandising and Sales to ensure that all presentation and photography sample deadlines are met. This role interacts daily with teams across the organization from packaging and graphic design to sales and QA. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, bilingual, personable, and works well in a fast-paced environment.

• Preparing samples to meet presentation and photography deadlines
• Managing sample needs across all brands
• Maintaining an up-to-date project priority list
• Coordinating packaging, art and purchasing samples for mock-ups
• Ensuring that samples are approved prior to photography and shipping
• Tracking sample photography for PLM system
• Communicating special food sample needs to buyers
• Monitoring design room supply and inventory levels
• Participating in team meetings and providing weekly status updates
• Overseeing design room set up for presentations
• Providing guidance and training to mock-up team members
• Distribution of sample components to the mock-up team
• Requesting mock-up and design room supplies
• Printing line lists and bills of material for mock-up team
• Attending sold product meetings and capturing sample notes
• Replenishment of design room inventory
• Labeling samples for sign off and notifying product designers
• Organizing weekly sample and design room clean-up
• Helping pack samples for shipping when needed
• Providing administrative and data entry support

• Strong data entry, writing and proofreading skills
• Above average organization skills
• Absorbs information quickly and confidently follows through
