Design Specialist

Job Description

Responsibilities:

2-4 years experienced fiber designer for FTTH/FTTx networks capable of;

01. Designing FTTH/FTTx networks.

02. Perform detailed QC on FTTH/FTTx networks by other designers.

03. Perform detailed QC on HLD, SLD and LLD.

04. Perform detailed QC on splice package.

05. Perform detailed QC on UG permits and special permits (MTO, Railway, others)

06. Perform detailed QC on Construction drawings.

07. Update Permits as per the as-builts reported.

08. Interdepartmental and inter-team coordination.

09. Mentoring and coaching junior team members.

10. Reporting of progress and maintain updates in progress trackers.

11. Hands on experience with AutoCAD, QGIS, 3GIS, Bluebeam, MS office.

12. Can contribute to process improvements in design delivery.

Experience:
2-3 years of relevant experience

Preferred University/College degree.

Preferred hands-on experience with Roger's spatialNet, Bell Netx, QGIS/3GIS.

Interperosnal skills:

Self-organized, team player, target oriented, working in fast pace environment, rapid learner of new tools required to deliver the projects.
