What you'll do at Insight:
- Actively participate in the assessment, planning, designing, and implementing of Wireless solutions.
- Design, deploy, support and troubleshoot large-scale network and wireless implementations.
- Maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions to complex network/wireless problems.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
- 5+ years implementing and troubleshooting Networking and Wireless technologies.
- Growth in technical skills through wireless certifications (CWNA/CWDP/CWAP) or other similar achievements is required.
- Growth in technical skills through network certifications (CCNP/CCDP/JNCIP/CCIE) or other similar achievements is desired.
- ECSE Design, Troubleshooting, or Advanced Certifications are a plus
- Expert understanding of wireless requirements and WiFi Standards.
- Extensive experience creating complex wireless designs.
- Understanding of multiple manufacturers and AP models, including optimized used for each model.
- Adept in switching configuration, troubleshooting and installation specifically on Cisco, HPe/Aruba, Meraki or Juniper switches.
- Experience with using Ekahau and/or AirMagnet for predictive wireless designs.
- Ability to travel extensively within North America.
- Ability to think on your feet and solve issues.
- Available for evening and overnight work as needed.
- Ability to perform onsite wireless surveys using Ekahau sidekicks or AirMagnet software.
- Ability to work in a team environment with other engineers.
