Job Description
We are seeking a Graphic Designer to work on a high-profile national client in the oil and gas energy sector. We're looking for someone who can create engaging graphics, type, and layouts for use across multiple media platforms. To be successful, a candidate should have a strong command of illustration, typography, color theory, and photo manipulation-and the ability to maintain brand standards in each practice.

Responsibilities:
- Study briefs and determine requirements. Ask clarifying questions if requirements are not understood.
- Conceptualize and produce visuals based on requirements
- Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using a variety of tools.
- Follow brand guidelines and ensure proper use of colors, fonts, logos, layouts, etc. for each graphic
- Work with creative directors, copywriters, art directors, and other team members throughout the creative development process
- Present creative work to internal and client teams. Discuss feedback and solutions to design concerns.
- Implement feedback into designs, ensuring all necessary notes/changes are addressed
- Translate concepts into creative executions for different media, including digital and print
- Resize and set up files according to necessary vendor and/or technological specs
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Complete daily work assigned in the project management platform
- Proactively communicate with the Project Management team if there are issues with hitting assigned deadlines and partner on a solution
- Accurately track time to specified job codes daily
Requirements and skills:
- Proven graphic designing experience
- Agency experience preferred
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratiively across the team and meet deadlines
- Willing to be onsite in Boise, ID
