Designer

FabFitFun is searching for a Designer (Fashion/Home/Fitness products) to join our Sourcing & Product Development team! Reporting to the Director, Product Development and Global Sourcing, this role will bring a passion for design and translating brand aesthetics into world-class products for FabFitFun’s multiple house brands. Portfolio of previous design work required for application review. 

Location: FabFitFun is based in the Greater Los Angeles area in West Hollywood,CA. This role will be expected to work in a hybrid environment and will not be eligible for remote.

What You’ll Do:

• Design compelling seasonal assortments with the ability to balance a variety of brand aesthetics with FFF member needs
• Understanding of product manufacturing techniques in apparel, fashion & fitness accessories, and soft & hard home goods
• Partner with Product Development & Sourcing team to engineer products to achieve margin targets
• Provides alternate production and material options to mitigate costs and production risks
• Evaluate prototypes and provide comments to internal teams
• Maintain design calendar deadlines and lead required changes to support business strategies
• Develop technical specifications for all products including raw materials, prints, packaging, and artwork used for production
• Create seasonal concepts and trend directions
• Collaborate with internal teams to review emerging trends 

What You'll Bring:

• Degree in Design, Product Development, or other related field
• 3-5 years of apparel, accessories, or home design experience; consumer packaged goods a plus
• Experience in Illustrator and Photoshop required
• Excellent design and conceptual skills
• Knowledge and understanding of product development
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A team player with the ability to take direction and work professionally with others
• Proficient with Google Suite
• Experience with PLM platform

The expected annual salary range for this position is $80-$100K. The compensation package will also include an initial equity grant, in addition to a range of generous medical, dental, vision and other perks & benefits. Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of job-related factors such as skill set, geographic location, market demands, experience, and education / certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications.
