You are a proactive and creative problem-solver with strong analytical skills as well as a good communicator who builds strong relationships with colleagues clients consultants contractors and vendors. And finally you are committed to the advancement of technology building performance and sustainability strategies in design and construction.

We have openings in our New York office for Architectural Designers and Interior Designers with a passion for thoughtful forward-thinking design. Designers work directly with architects and interior designers through all project phases on a wide-array of project types sizes and complexities. Candidates will have:

• A portfolio of architecture for commercial office mixed-use and/or institutional clients
• Ideally they will have a NAAB professional degree from an accredited architecture or interior design program 
• 3-5 years of professional experience is preferred
• Demonstrate proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite

Qualities desired to excel in this role include an ability to be facile at problem-solving and strong presentation and communication skills. An aptitude for strong design and an ability to work on teams in a collaborative environment is also sought and valued. 

Our base salary compensation for this position based on experience ranges from $65000 to $78000.

STUDIOS is an international design practice. We work with our clients to create built environments that express the essence of their organizations. For each project we seek to create a great experience in a way that is both pragmatic and inspiring. Our practice is led by 25 principals and is managed in a non-hierarchical way that calls for the highest level of contribution from each of over 300 staff members. We have studios in Los Angeles New York San Francisco Washington DC Paris and Lyon.
