The role is for an experienced designer with exceptional design and illustration chops to create best-in-class design output for our brand.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with art directors, and creative directors in developing visual content across a variety of digital and social tactics
- Create cohesive design and illustration assets for multiple, simultaneous projects, solving for creative challenges through fresh visual solutions and technical expertise
- Responsible for the quality of design output across marketing channels-campaigns, video animation still frames, social media, events, digital marketing, business development, print materials, internal and external communications-that meets requirements, deadlines, and design quality standards
- Understand how to build and apply brand standards and style guides
- Ability to create, organize, export, and iterate quickly
- Create style frames for animation projects
- Manage own workload and timelines in collaboration with managers
- Work independently and collaboratively to iteratively create concepts that are progressively refined, honed, and tightened throughout the creative production process
- Optimize deliverables for technical parameters, performance and file-size requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in design, illustration, digital media, or related field
- 3+ years experience designing branded materials across a variety of media
- Strong portfolio of work that includes digital illustration and design pieces
- Agency or in-house experience preferred
- Conceptual thinker when approaching digital illustration, design and content requirements
- Strong fundamental design, typography, color theory, layout, and illustration skills
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and other design creation tools
- Exceptionally organized, with a keen eye for detail with a passion for pristine design files, layer naming, and file etiquette best practices
- Experience working with and enforcing brand standards
- Able to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
- Seeks out and responds well to feedback and direction from others
- Must adapt to fast-changing design challenges, deadlines, and project requirements
- Passionate and curious about current design and illustration trends
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced startup environment, including occasionally across time zones

Annual Salary Range
- USD 70,000 - 122,000
