As part of a newly public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

Recent awards we’ve won include:

Every year, we partner with our customers to deliver outcomes like conserving millions of gallons of fuel, saving millions of dollars, and creating positive environmental change. As more customers connect to our platform, our data grows, our AI models get smarter, and our opportunities expand.

About the role:

The Brand Creative team at Samsara is a growing group within the Marketing organization. We’re a team of designers, writers, strategists, producers, filmmakers and general creative weirdos. The team is currently organized into 4 pods, Brand Systems; Film/Video; Web/Digital; and Special Projects. Together we’re responsible for establishing and expressing the brand story in all possible creative channels available to us. Everyone on the team is a grade-A human being first and foremost. No room for egos here! Secondly, we’re grade-A creative professionals and obsessed with learning and growth. If you join our team, we want you to share this passion!

This role will report into the Creative Director and sit on the Special Projects pod. Which means that we’re looking for someone with a well rounded skill set or a desire to develop a well rounded skill set. This position will apply design and design thinking to lots of different scenarios and disciplines. This pod may be tasked with concepting new wall mural art one week and the next week be designing the visual identity for a CEO keynote address. The Special Projects pod often gets tasked with figuring out uncharted territory. Concepting designs for things we’ve never done. This role will be responsible for responding to marketing briefs (and on occasion creating briefs) and pitching innovative ways to tell our brand story in new and beautiful ways. We’re looking for someone obsessed with design. Someone strategic. Someone collaborative. Someone who is at home problem solving and creating approaches for those who might come after them.

As a partner to a host of cross-functional teams across the company, the growing Special Projects pod will be the “SWAT team” for some of our most important and high visibility company initiatives both internally and externally. Does this sound like you?

You should apply if:

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
  • You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won’t be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment.

  • You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-caliber team that will encourage you to do your best.
