Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of Designer experience in Art Direction/Creative Marketing or a similar role.
- Portfolio included within resume/application submission highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions.
Preferred qualifications:
- Proficiency in design tools, especially Adobe Creative Suite and Google Workplace (Slides).
- Ablility to communicate concepts and iterate on designs.

As a Creative in Marketing, you bring visual, design, written and experiential acumen to Google products and services, presented across all major media, content, channels, and experiences. You have the ability to perform your role in a flexible, ever-changing environment and must be open to new influences and inspiration. You will work with a deeply cross-functional team and inspire a team of vendor partners by sharing ideas and developing effective solutions to generate multiple concepts supporting all forms of major media. You will be equally comfortable making; rolling up your sleeves and designing, mocking, writing, or prototyping; showing, not telling. Above all, you will inspire and lead by example by making the most of every opportunity to develop breakthrough creative, consistent with the Google Marketing brand, and be able to take and provide clear direction and creative feedback that pushes work forward.
As a Designer, you will solve problems through visual communication. You will be responsible for developing the design of Google's most high profile Marketing moments. These deliverables will range from developing and directing film content, style guide, event identity and interactive experiences. You will serve as a liaison between the events team, marketing teams, and our agencies to ensure that the design vision is carried from concept through execution. You will thrive under pressure, have a clean, fresh and modern design aesthetic, and have a passion for events and experiences.

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $131,000-$196,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
- Create a range of visual design deliverables from: comps, branding, style guides, mock-ups iconography, presentations layouts, mood boards.
- Explain your ideas, direction and feedback in deck form for TVCs and agencies to act upon.
- Present your work, articulate clear direction and develop action items for teams to execute upon.
- Direct and provide feedback on these physical elements.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the events and experiences team, product teams and agency partners.
