Job Description:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in the relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required.
- Relevant field of study include UX/UI, graphic design, digital design, or digital art/media.
Work Experiences:
- 2+ years of digital design experience preferred.
Skills:
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Professional demeanor, effective listener, clear presenter, and succinct writer.
- Ability to analyze, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts to make effective business decisions.
- Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels, both internally and externally.
- Ability to effectively prioritize workload in a frequently changing environment while remaining detailed and organized.
- Working knowledge of design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) and proficiency in word processing software.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and familiar with the use of a content management system.
Responsibilities:
- Actively design layouts and comps in collaboration with the merchant and marketing teams to create innovative designs and compelling stories in line with each season's inspiration and campaign.
- Enhance customer site experiences and app experiences using existing templates and help explore new templates throughout the seasons.
- Translate business and marketing objectives into designs that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, easy to use, and engaging.
- Actively communicate with cross-functional partners to understand the strategy and deliverables and articulate creative thinking behind the aesthetic and design decisions.
- Ensure consistent creativity across all digital channels.
- Research current trends in retail and related product categories.
- Understand the learnings from previous campaigns and continue to evolve designs.
- Ensure the level of excellence in all creative with a keen eye for typography, graphic design, illustration, photography, and accessibility.
- Learn the business' drivers, pursue training opportunities grow your design capabilities, and practice informal leadership and communication through the use of an individual development plan focused on advancing to the position UI Designer II.
- Digital production as needed.

- Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties.
- Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior.
- Regular attendance required.
