Day - 08 Hour (United States of America)

This is a Stanford Health Care job.

A Brief Overview

Develops or acquires images used in a variety of creative projects (ads, brochures, corporate identity, packaging, presentations, promotional displays, signage, websites, etc.) and oversees the design, layout and formatting of these materials. Incumbent must possess a strong sense of concept development, in addition to communication, collaboration, research, problem-solving and presentation skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required.

What you will do

• Creates and/or conceptually contributes to a wide variety of communications, including service line specific newsletters, branded print collateral, promotional items, web assets, email blasts (constant contact) and maintenance of mailing lists.
• Develops and owns original creative concepts and directs the successful execution of the idea.
• Executes design and graphic production processes required to produce final creative product.
• Designs web assets that accurately reflect the organization's goals, objectives and identity. Creates concepts, artwork and layout for sites and other online projects based on creative briefs and client meetings.
• Manages the development of creative materials including: Flyers and flyer templates, posters and poster templates, banners and banner templates, brochures and brochure templates, email templates, newsletter templates (digital and print), internal support items such as stationery, business cards and way finding signs, digital graphics and web support for internet, intranet and social media sites.
• Assures communication to requestors on progress and delivery of final product within agreed upon timelines.
• Assures standards, templates and quality control check points and reviews are in place to deliver all materials that represent the level of expected quality.
• Provides in-house graphic support and consultation.
• Develops creative graphic designs for variety of print, online and direct mail advertising materials.
• Works with hospital and marketing leadership to support the creative direction and development of any full scale plans needed for projects.

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.

Experience Qualifications

• Three (3) to six (6) years progressively responsible and directly related work experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• High level of comfort with verbally contributing to group discussions.
• Demonstrates experience owning the original creative concept and directing the successful execution of that idea.
• Ability to work with flexibility, efficiency, and diplomacy, both individually and as part of a complex team effort.
• Demonstrates proficient use of the web, awareness of its design limitations and technical specifications.
• Flawless preparation of design concepts for client meetings including expertise in building mockups by hand.
• Ability to communicate the value of what's created.
• Highly organized and detail oriented to manage a high-volume of simultaneous requests; ability to prioritize & adjust priorities as needed.
• Responsiveness and patience for responding to high demand/quick turnaround circumstances & long review cycles.
• Skill at negotiating consistently high-quality results under tight deadlines, while maintaining the engagement of contractors/vendors.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $34.60 - $44.97 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
