Job Description:
- Rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences-from concept to execution.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
- Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and/or high-fidelity prototypes.
- Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
- Advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, a related field, or a foreign equivalent, and 2 year of experience working with multidisciplinary UX and/or product teams (visual, interaction, UX research, engineering, content strategy) on technical implementation. Experience Must include:
- (1) Designing with adobe creative suite of products in professional environment including: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- (2) Modeling with 3D CAD software: SolidWorks, Fusion 360 and Keyshot
- (3) Implementing visual design and branding to new concepts
- (4) Designing from ideation/brainstorming, trend and user research through wireframing to final design
- (5) Working with engineers (electrical, mechanical, software) in a professional environment to implement new concept ideas
- 10% domestic and international travel required
Compensation for this role is expected to be between $119,100 and $163,650 year but may be higher or lower in other states due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
