Social Finance, LLC seeks Designer - UI/UX in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Design product features from start to finish, from early sketching and concept
phases to final pixel perfect Figma files that are ready to ship. Work closely with the Design
Director, Research, Product Management, Business Unit, and Engineering partners to gather
feedback and drive a continual cycle of design iterations and improvements. Develop user-
centric design solutions based on research, member insights, and industry best-practices.
Create detailed design specs and presentation documents to clearly communicate design intent
and solutions. Contribute to the SoFi Design System. Collaborate with cross-functional teams
working on other projects to drive alignment and consistency across the entire member user
experience. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelorās degree, or foreign equivalent, in Architectural Studies,
Cognitive Sciences, Fine Arts, Industrial Design, Engineering or closely related quantitative
discipline.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Prototyping (UI/UX); (2) Design system thinking; (3) User testing
(4) User research (5) Animation design; (6) 3D Modeling; (7) Figma, (8) Adobe Illustrator, (9)
Adobe After Effects; (10) Computational modeling; (11) Statistical analysis; (12) Python; and
(13) Front End Web Development (HTML/CSS). Any suitable combination of education, training
and/or experience is acceptable. Special Skills can be gained through academic coursework,
scholastic achievement, or professional experience. Telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $168,400.00 - $193,660.00 per annum.
