Purpose:
The Desktop Administrator position will work closely with information technology teams, vendors and business units to design and implement IT solutions to meet business objectives and meet regulatory requirements.
We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record of success in client-side system design and integration (physical and virtual), vulnerability management, and process automation and improvement. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, who exceeds as an individual.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly analyzes problems and opportunities, and their impact on the business. Considers all fact-based and stakeholder information in order to evaluate alternatives and make judgment-rich decisions. Probes symptoms to determine the underlying causes of problems and then integrates information from a variety of sources to arrive at optimal solutions.
- Fulfills customer requirements via design/build/test/troubleshoot/document activities for enterprise-class client computing hardware, software, support tools and platforms.
- Use PC configuration management tools to perform system administration (for example, adding workstations to the domain, writing procedures, etc.), software distribution, patch management, and inventory management.
- Evaluates, analyzes, configures, and implements new client products and tools while ensuring appropriate operational support is enabled.
- Provides comprehensive support for Microsoft products, Intel and midrange platforms, and scripting.
- Conducts research on software and systems products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.

Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma required. Bachelors preferred.
- 3+ years' experience in a customer service/support role.
- Requires experience troubleshooting, repairing/ installing hardware and software.
- 1+ years' experience of supporting Windows Server Operating System/Linux.
- 3+ years' experience with Windows Client OS, ITSM tool and supporting Microsoft Office.
- 3+ years' experience with automation tools (i.e. PowerShell, SCCM, Intune).
- Requires the ability to work any shift or day as needed by management.
- Requires the ability to learn general application concepts and become familiar with designated business, clinical and technical applications.
- Requires continuous equipment research and training to provide solutions to problems.
- Ability to uphold and model the Bank's Guiding Principles.
