Job Description

The Desktop Engineer supports desktop and laptop Windows based systems, iOS devices, thin clients, Chrome devices, printers, scanners, carts, audio/video/conferencing devices and applications. The Engineer conducts operating system and hardware troubleshooting and system based monitoring utilizing respective enterprise level monitoring tools, system imaging utilizing enterprise level tools, client side network troubleshooting, Active Directory group policy and security troubleshooting, system imaging utilizing enterprise level tools, network and telecommunications tier-1 level troubleshooting. In addition, he/she is responsible for the promotion of standard architectures, as well as hardware and software components.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED Required, Bachelor's degree in technical field preferred
2 years of equivalent job experience in an enterprise environment
Active listening, empathy, patience
Ability to present technical information to non-technical audience
