Currently, we are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer, responsible for providing hardware and software support to on-site and remote employees as a member of the Corporate Technology and Service Desk team. The CT team is the grease that keeps Veeam running. We are here to support our fellow employees so that they can continue to grow our company. The Desktop Support Engineer roles are customer support roles. We take care of our customers so they can take care of theirs. 

Your tasks will include:

  • Configure and set up computer monitors and other hardware
  • Maintain adequate stock levels of laptops and essential equipment
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for hardware issues, such as computers not turning off
  • Address a range of IT support requests, including software issues with Microsoft Office and password resets
  • Resolve general IT troubleshooting tasks to ensure operational efficiency
  • Manage and track IT assets, including monitors, laptops, and other equipment
  • Keep accurate records and ensure all equipment is accounted for
  • Work with vendors to order additional equipment as necessary

What we expect from you:

  • Fluent English (reading/writing/speaking)
  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar role
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting both hardware and software issues
  • Experience with asset management and inventory tracking
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to assist users of varying technical expertise
  • Experience in managing IT equipment and collaborating with vendors
