Desktop Support Specialist II (On-site)

We are looking for a Desktop Support Specialist II that will perform end user help-desk support, PC hardware staging, troubleshooting and repairs in addition to supporting all computer related functions for end users for escalated and more complex problems. The Desktop Support Specialist II supports all computer related functions for end users for escalated and more complex problems.n, recommends process improvements, plans and executes office moves, additions or changes and maintains and updates user account information.

Minimum - DSS I: High school diploma or equivalent required plus related PC hardware repair required. A+ certification required comprehension of Windows 10 Operating Systems and Microsoft Office/Office 365 products. In-depth knowledge of integrating and configuring PC hardware and peripherals. An understanding of the networking principles and components as well as hardware maintenance support. Ability to work with little supervision and in a cohesive environment. Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to work under pressure and to be able to solve complex problems or procedures. Must have an understanding of mathematical concepts. Flexible work schedule (Ability to work overtime, if needed) Timely and accurate preparation of paperwork as required. Must have excellent customer service, teamwork and communication skills.

Minimum Level 1 requirements plus three - five years of previous help-desk experience in a business or corporate environment as well as a current industry certification (i.e. CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) or other area of expertise.

Preferred -: Networking knowledge in a corporate environment and previous help-desk experience. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365 and Microsoft Teams. Experience with Microsoft cloud applications, Active Directory, Office 365, Sharepoint, InTune and Microsoft Teams. Experience with Microsoft Windows server and VmWare a plus.
