Despatch & Traffic Co-ordinator

Overview:

Primary Responsibilities:

• To provide reliable and professional day-time coverage in our despatch dept. The UK operations run 24 hrs a day and 7 days a week producing and delivering content to clients. The role will be positioned on site in the despatch area, and you will be principally working during the day.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Ensure that company security policies and procedures pertaining to asset receipt and storage are always upheld
• Make sure all incoming and outgoing media assets are received, logged, securely stored and distributed in keeping with established company policies with notifications sent out as appropriate.
• Ensure that all other materials coming into the building including equipment and other supplies are logged and notifications communicated
• Verifying ID of parties collecting material
• Understand and strictly adhere to established labelling and MediaPulse (logging system) naming conventions
• Neatly store and retrieve assets from designated storage locations including vault and traffic areas
• To maintain accurate and detailed delivery records and other documentation as required
• To regularly liaise and communicate with other departments such as the production team and understand delivery schedules and commitments
• Book couriers and bikes as required and ensure accurate billing information is added to Media Pulse
• Liaising with couriers/despatch team/security team/others to ensure the correct media always goes to correct location
• Keep vault and traffic areas clean, tidy and free from obstruction

Hours of Work:

• 40 hour per week which will be split across 8 hr day shifts which are normally Monday – Friday but may include some weekends and evenings, if the business requires this.
• This role reports into the Client Services and Traffic Manager.

Training to be provided by employer:

• Basic Security Training
• First Aid Training
• Fire Warden Training
