Destiny Associate Sandbox Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain clear and inspectable code using C++ 
• Improve your craft via practice, code reviews, and mentorship 
• Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to build, extend, and maintain technology

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Able to apply common data structures and algorithms to solve novel problems 
• Proficiency with a compiled language such as C#, C++, or Java, and familiarity with C or C++ 
• Comfortable with trigonometry, linear algebra, and calculus 
• Plays games and can analyze and describe what is important to a player’s experience 
• Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with customers of different technical and non-technical backgrounds to help them navigate technology and achieve their goals

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• Experience writing code for games or simulations (physics, traffic, molecular, etc...)
