Destiny Raid & Dungeon Investment Designer

If you answered yes to these questions, Bungie wants you on our team as our newest Raid & Dungeon (RAD) Investment Designer.

As a RAD Investment Designer, you will be responsible for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to generate & build ideas driving player motivation and long-term engagement in our Raid & Dungeon experiences. RAD Investment Designers are tasked with building all the progression, designing and constructing deep reward loops, interweaving quest and milestone content through the experiences, as well as working closely with the Activity Designers to ensure we’re hitting all the right beats.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create a wide variety of pursuit and reward-based content that complements Destiny activities
• Perform scripting and tool work
• Design and implement sustainable content that excites and engages players
• Tune gameplay values to create compelling moments and satisfying progressions

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Professional experience as a designer
• Some experience working with game development software and tools
• Understanding of player motivation; knowing what drives people to engage with content
• Deeply knowledgeable in reward and progression systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to work as part of a large team and ability to take and provide feedback and direction appropriately

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• Technical experience writing text-based scripts to manage game systems (scripting in a Lua, Python, or similar language)
• Experience working on games as a service/live content
