Destiny Senior VFX Art Outsourcing Specialist

Are you passionate about creating spectacular visual effects for video games? Do you have the passion to be a force multiplier capable of putting amazing rewards in front of players? Do you have heightened attention to detail that ensures art is hitting the technical and aesthetic bar for the game? We’re looking for a VFX artist who has experience working with outsourced assets and pipelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES         

• Responsible for high quantity of feedback on outsource assets of a sub discipline that matches the Destiny aesthetic, while advocating discipline best practices
• Communicating to external art vendors at each stage of VFX production
• Incorporating feedback from Art Direction; from the VFX Art Discipline Lead
• Standardizing naming conventions and file organization
• Integration on all types of assets
• Building and maintaining documentation for technical pipelines, workflows, and spec-sheets
• Spearhead innovative pipelines and workflows related to VFX content creation
• Mentorship of internal support team and external vendor artists
• Closing Bug Support

REQUIRED SKILLS          

• Ability to take direction well
• Experience working as a VFX Artist on shipped game titles
• Attention to detail
• Able to troubleshoot technical issues related to creating VFX art in our proprietary game engine
• Maintaining positive relationships with internal artists and external vendors
• Time Management and Prioritization skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
