Dev Ops Consultant

Are you an experienced Dev Ops Consultant looking for an opportunity to join an innovative, collaborative team? We have an opportunity for a Senior Dev Ops Consultant with extensive experience in Dynamics 365, Azure Dev Ops, and a sound knowledge of Software delivery and deployment to join Capita on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be joining in-flight projects with a large existing team and will be working on Microsoft Dynamics 365, assisting developers and providing deployments to developers of software releases.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

• Design and implement build and deployment configuration definitions

• Utilise robust build and deployment processes to deliver reliable managed environments of known baselines

• Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning for both on premise and cloud-based environments

• Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages

• Manage CI and CD tools

• Work with contemporary development practices (e.g. Scrum, BDD) and tools (e.g. Jenkins, GIT)

• Meeting with stakeholders and clients to determine requirements

What we’re looking for:

• Azure - Administration and development within Azure including Dev Ops and Git Hub

• Experience in Design and implementing build and release pipelines

• Artifactory Management Tools like JFrog, Azure Artifacts

• Proficiency in Git or any source control mechanism: Git revert, reset, reflog, fork, stashing etc;

• Experience of monitoring tools such as; Prometheus or Grafana or Splunk

• Able to develop local security and compliance plans with knowledge of best practice, vulnerabilities management and
  compliance frameworks

• Knowledge of Software delivery, software deployment and ability to create Azure CD CI pipelines for continuous improvement

• Well-versed in programming languages such as; Python, Perl, Ruby, PowerShell (advantageous)

• Dynamics 365 experience (desirable)
