Come join the Edinburgh based Application Operations Team as an Applications Operations Senior Engineer.

Help us support the transactional production systems for 47,000 plus US based customers. This role will be critical for the holistic operation of customer facing IFS applications and services.

Use your knowledge of technology and operational best practices to drive the design, development and implementation of operational standards and capabilities for connected services that enable highly available, scalable & reliable customer experiences

* What are the main roles and responsibilities?

We look after and support multiple business units, retail, digital banking, as well as Payment Platforms

24/7/365 monitoring, first and second line of all business units, we also are incident management, triage and customer facing (on the phone), we work closely with SRE, Development teams and Management layers across all our business units.

*What do we need from you?

• A good basic grasp of Linux
• An understanding of ITIL
• Rudimentary understanding of GCP
• A willingness to learn - we will train you!
• A good attitude and willingness to change lightbulbs.
• A love of food!

• Ability to get out of bed and online by 6am.

*Working days and hours

• Start of work day 6am finish around 2pm
• Sunday - Thursday
