Job Description

• Implementation of build process and improvements
• Deployment automation, maintenance and debugging
• Daily maintenance of source repositories.
• Distributed deployment and install of releases to single/multiple-host environment.
• Support DEV/UAT/STG/PROD build environments
• Collaborate with other teams to provide CI/CD support
• Debug/troubleshoot builds and deployment issue

Required Skills

• College degree is required
• 5 to 7 years experience in similar role
• Proficiency in a scripting language such as bash shell scripting in a linux environment
• Knowledge of python
• Proficiency in deployment automation tools such as Ansible playbooks
• Experience in deployments of multi-component applications with cross-dependencies
• Proficiency in container tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in build automation/integration tools such as maven, Jenkins
• Knowledge of Artifactory, Sonar
• Proficiency in GIT Branching / Merging / Tagging

Desired skills

• Knowledge of Autosys (Job management and scripting).
• Knowledge of Credit Risk applications or experience in financial sector.
• Knowledge of Object Oriented, multi-threaded applications
• Cloud experience a plus.

Pay and benefits information
Jersey City pay range:
$90,500 - $175,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
