About this opportunity

Ericsson seeks a Developer in Plano, Texas, & various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. who will serve to analyze computer systems requirements and create software design to address systems.

What you will do:

Drive the software design around desktop, mobile, web, or cloud functionality on the product. Investigate and compare different software solutions and evaluate options. Prototype various software options as part of the discovery and design process. Document the detailed design of the software implementation. Write clean, commented and efficient software code. Debug and fix bugs in software code base. Participate in SCRUM ceremonies. Act as a subject matter expert in desktop, mobile, web, or cloud to lead and drive the development of new features and maintain existing code base.

You will bring:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience as a developer or similar. Experience to include 5 years working in telecommunications. Also 1 year of experience developing and rendering graphics and engine/interactive functionalities in C++; building cloud services to ingest, process, and transform stream data; architecting, building and deploying REST APIs; and contributing to CI/CD pipelines.
