Purpose and Objective:
SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Developer at our Pittsburgh, PA location to be responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of specific product features in a development team.
Expectations and Tasks:
Analyze and solve issues in existing and new code. Maintains full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrates a high level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency. Works closely together with other team members to ensure the team success. Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team. Maintains proficient overall product knowledge and shares domain expertise within team.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one (1) year of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree.
Work Experience:
Prior experience, internship, or academic coursework to include each of the following:
Travel: N/A. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the time.

- System performance review (including identification and analysis of bottlenecks via logs, SQL explain plans and profiling) and improvement of system performance (including algorithm improvements, introduction indexes, and query improvements);
- Standard Compliance;
- Software Development and Programming;
- Security Operations;
- SQL Procedures;
- Programming languages and paradigms, including ABAP, Java, Python, or R;
- Skill Name Developer;
- Incident solving process;
- Internet/Network Protocols and Services;
- Demand forecasting or forecasting algorithms;
- SQL operations including DML and DDL;
- Procedural languages in relational database including HANA, MySQL, Oracle or Postgres;
- Consensus Building;
- Software architecture ;
- Architecture Modeling and Documentation;
- Development applications and tools, including IDE's, data analysis; and
- Analytic capabilities including development of solution in code.
