What we’re looking for:

Our client base is constantly growing and we’re looking for great software engineers to make our team better. The Developer Experience team at Iodine is responsible for enabling developers for speed and efficiency through optimizing coding, build, deployment and observability of an application.  As a Developer Experience SRE, you will be a key contributor to building and maintaining tooling and processes for our product development teams. The role will be a mix of design and building internal tools and standards, implementing 3rd party tooling, as well as influencing culture and best practices across our engineering organization.

 
What you’ll do: 

Work with product teams and engineering leadership to help implement vision for Iodine’s Software Development Lifecycle
Develop and run efficient and reliable internal tooling
Enable development teams to efficiently run software in production, including best practices for observability and monitoring
Work closely with other Developer Experience engineers
Install and maintain 3rd party software and tooling
 
What we’d love to see: 

Minimum Requirements:

BS in Computer Science or related area
2+ years of software development experience
Experience with or implementing build pipelines or observability frameworks
Proficiency in one or more programming languages including Java, NodeJS, Python or Go
Experience building applications with Docker
Experience  running applications in Kubernetes
Be self driven with a desire for automation and process improvement
 
Preferred Requirements:

Experience in regulated environment such as PCI or HIPAA
Experience with Ansible
