Job Description

DUTIES:

Develop user specific solutions using Apex classes, Triggers, Controllers & Controller Extensions, Components, and Test Methods.

Work with Salesfoce.com sandbox and production environments.

Create, troubleshoot, and modify Apex code and Visual force pages.

Support the administration, setup, release management, Apex, Visual force and different Salesforce.com development tools like Force.com, Eclipse IDE, and integration tools like Oracle Fusion Middleware.

Apex coding to implement the complex business logic with the governor limits enforced by Salesforce.com.

Write test classes and test methods to ensure maximum code coverage in production instance.

Support integration of Salesforce.com applications and other applications.

Design custom objects, custom fields, pick list, workflow alerts and actions, validation rules, approval processes, custom tabs, custom reports, reports folders, report extractions to various formats, design of Visualforce Pages, record types, and email generation according to business requirements.

Design and build user interfaces, frameworks, components, navigation elements, and customization for extensive, highly interactive cloud-based business application.

Query Salesforce.com database using SOQL & SOSL queries.

Support development involving web technologies like HTML, XML, CSS, JSP, JavaScript, DL, and SOAP.

Create batch Apex and schedule Apex development.

**Roving/Telecommuting Employee: Reports to company headquarters in Waltham, MA. Can work remotely or telecommute.

REQUIREMENTS:

Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Digital Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study plus 5 years of experience with Salesforce.com CRM Platform, or related experience. Employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Digital Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study plus 7 years of experience with Salesforce.com CRM Platform, or related experience as an equivalent alternative.

Required knowledge or experience with:

Salesforce.com CRM integration, development, and deploying custom integration solutions;

Salesforce.com technologies: Salesforce.com, Apex Classes and Controllers, Apex Triggers, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Components, Apex Web Services, and Flows;

Salesforce tools: IDE (Eclipse), API Tools (Data Loader) Force.com Platform (Sandbox and Production);

Web programming languages;

Tools: MS Office; and

Salesforce certified, including Platform Developer I.
