Job Summary

The Developer Lead is responsible for leading teams in developing, documenting, educating and articulating moderately complex business requirements to support enterprise business solutions initiatives, ranging from vision to implementation, strategy, development and tactical execution of objectives. Incumbent will also ensure team members are effectively contributing expertise in system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documenting the development of all lifecycle phases.

Requirements

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field. In lieu of degree, five (5) years' relevant experience will be considered.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum seven (7) years' direct experience serving source systems and project teams for developing, documenting, educating and articulating moderately complex business requirements to support strategic and tactical business needs.

Knowledge, experience and the ability to lead teams in data gathering, program logic development, coding, testing and documentation as well as experience in Application Systems Programming Design & Analysis using various programming languages.

Experience as a Programming Lead in at least four (4) large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

Enhances and applies programming skills to include analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation and documentation., Ensures all team members are qualified to perform skills required., Ensures that team members are efficiently developing & implementing processes for accurate and effective workflow distribution., Leads and contributes to and supports the strategic and operational planning process to include total quality management philosophies., Leads teams in design and in the development of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and ensures delivery of high-availability and performance applications., Leads various teams that are responsible for designing, testable and code, teams also work to develop testing protocols & plans for testing revised applications while documenting test results., Performs other duties as assigned., Provides technical expertise of subsystems and any other performance related systems.
