Developer Manager

Credit Repair Cloud, the leader in credit repair software, is seeking an Developer Manager to lead our growing team. As our Developer Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a team of developers working on our suite of B2B SaaS products. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for technology and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You'll work closely with the product team to define the technical roadmap for our platform and ensure that our software is scalable, reliable, and secure. • Lead and manage a talented team of nearshore and remote developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to help them excel in their roles.
• Oversee the planning and designing of software web applications, including new features, enhancements and modifications.
• Collaborate with product management to define the technical roadmap for our software platform.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality software on schedule.
• Ensure that all software is scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Communicate with stakeholders throughout the company to keep everyone informed of progress and issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology, serving as a technical expert and leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation within the team.
• Influence best engineering practices through solid decision making, processes and tools.

Requirements

• B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Systems
• 3 + years of experience as an Engineering Manager
• Experience in design patterns and application architecture to ensure the reliability and scalability of the application
• Proven experience managing nearshore software development teams
• Experience working with geographically distributed remote teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of software development practices, including agile methodologies
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including React, CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5
• Experience in two or more of the following programming languages: Java, PHP and ReactJS
• Good to have knowledge of Micro Service Architecture
• Proficient with code versioning tools including Git, BitBucket (recommended)
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of SaaS applications, experience reviewing code and providing recommendations relative to standard methodologies and performance improvement
• Expert knowledge of programming languages, web technologies, and cloud web architecture (preferably AWS)
• You have experience building high quality, consumer facing web applications
• A passion for technology and a desire to continuously learn and improve
