We are looking for an Engineer to join the Developer Productivity organization in Snap Inc!
What you’ll do:
Work across our developer experience teams as well as our feature development teams to identify and fix bottlenecks in feature development at Snap.
Build tooling to make day to day coding easy via fast and reliable code modification and build tools, a reliable CI/CD pipeline and a robust test Infrastructure
Make it easy to set up coding environments, find libraries, and have well supported modern languages to use
Define best practices, education and documentation for building with high craftsmanship
Build thorough test strategies on a test platform that runs fast and catches bugs before they get to Snapchatters
Build tools that help engineering and Quality Assurance teams address bugs effectively
Deliver quality releases out to our customers week after week, ensure tooling that bring end to end, failure resilient automation to our release process
Empower our developers to deliver custom experiences to our customer cohorts based on their circumstances, through server side controls so they don’t have to wait for client release to optimize our customer experience
Create mechanisms to prevent regressions in client resource usage(crashes, memory leaks, app size, etc)
Build localization tools that allow us to offer high quality, bug free experience to our customers around the world
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Deep experience with the software development lifecycle and the most common tools used during development:
Source Control (Git preferred), Build Systems (Bazel preferred), Continuous Integration, artifact management, test case management, feature flagging, monitoring.
Experience with large scale platform migrations of actively developed systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience
14+ years of software engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Developer productivity work in mobile apps environment
Experience with distributed systems and Big-Data infrastructure
Experience with large scale consumer facing platforms
Experience partnering with cross-functional executives and management across a globally distributed organization
Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, highly collaborative, multi-site, multi-stakeholder environments
Deep knowledge of and experience working with a diverse group of engineer
Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, highly collaborative, multi-site, multi-stakeholder environments
Someone who loves to learn, and is passionate about helping others

The base salary range for this position is $250,000 - 365,000 annually
This position is eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
