ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Developer Relations Lead to spearhead our efforts in engaging, supporting, and empowering developers within the crypto and blockchain ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background along with exceptional communication skills to foster relationships and drive community engagement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Developer Community Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with developers, crypto enthusiasts, and blockchain communities globally.
• Technical Advocacy: Serve as the primary technical advocate for LayerZero Labs, promoting our technologies and solutions through events, conferences, workshops, and online platforms.
• Content Creation: Develop technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, documentation, and sample code to assist developers in using LayerZero Labs' tools and APIs effectively.
• Support and Education: Provide technical guidance, support, and training to developers integrating our solutions, addressing their queries, and enabling smooth adoption.
• Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from the developer community to shape product development and enhance user experience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the product, engineering, and marketing teams to align developer-focused initiatives with company goals and product roadmaps.
• Leadership: You will build and lead the highest performing DevRel team in web3. Oversee the strategy, growth and continued construction of the way developers interact with LayerZero.

ABOUT YOU

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, dApps, and related protocols.
• Developer Relations Experience: Proven track record in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a similar role within the tech industry.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Community Engagement: Experience in engaging with developer communities through events, forums, social media, and other channels.
• Passion for Innovation: Enthusiasm for emerging technologies, a proactive approach to learning, and a drive to stay updated with industry trends.
• Collaborative Spirit: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.

WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU ALSO HAVE:

• Previous experience in the crypto or blockchain space.
• Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities.
• Experience with developer tooling, SDKs, and API integration.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity. Experience as well with Rust and IBC.
