Developer Relations Lead

As a Developer Relations Engineer at BreederDAO, you will be a vital link between our development team and the broader developer community. You will advocate for our ecosystem, ensuring developers have the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed. Your role will involve a combination of speaking engagements, developer onboarding, recruitment, and leveraging your knowledge of the game development lifecycle to foster a vibrant community.

Responsibilities:

• Represent BreederDAO at conferences, webinars, and other speaking engagements.
• Create and deliver presentations, workshops, and tutorials to educate and inspire the developer community about our platform and tools.
• Engage with developers on social media, forums, and other online platforms to provide support and gather feedback.
• Develop and implement strategies for onboarding new developers into the BreederDAO ecosystem.
• Work closely with the recruitment team to identify and attract top talent in the game development and blockchain spaces.
• Organize and lead hackathons, meetups, and other events to engage and recruit developers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for developers using BreederDAO tools and services.
• Provide technical support and guidance to developers, helping them to resolve issues and optimize their projects.
• Advocate for developers’ needs within BreederDAO, ensuring their feedback is heard and acted upon.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation, tutorials, and sample projects to help developers get started with our platform.
• Write blog posts, create videos, and contribute to other content that showcases the potential of BreederDAO’s technology.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the game development lifecycle, from concept to launch.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in blockchain technology and game development.
• Share insights and best practices with the community to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  

• Proven experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a similar role.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with experience in delivering technical content to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with the game development lifecycle and experience with game development tools and technologies.
• Solid understanding of blockchain technology and its applications in gaming.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for fostering a vibrant and inclusive developer community.
• 2+ year in developer relations or developer community lead role
• Experience organizing and leading developer events such as hackathons, meetups, or conferences.
• Exposure in game development, with hands-on experience in creating games or digital assets.
• Knowledge of smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and related blockchain technologies.
