Trilogy Federal is seeking a highly skilled and motivated remote Developer to join our team. As a Developer, experience is required in web-based and client-server application development, process automation, and integration of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software, specifically ServiceNow. This role requires expertise in relational database management systems (RDBMS) and structured query language (SQL), with a focus on developing, modifying, and maintaining applications and scripts that enhance operational efficiency and meet user needs. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, experience in systems development methodologies, and a proven track record of working on complex projects.Â
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software using agile methodologies such as SAFeÂ
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design, and implement featuresÂ
- Develop and modify web-based applications, client-server applications, and OS scripts for process automation.Â
- Utilize relational database management systems (RDBMS) and Structured Query Language (SQL) to design and implement solutions.Â
- Plan, document, code, modify, test, and implement custom applications and scripts.Â
- Integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software with existing architecture.Â
- Document test conditions, create test data, and perform program testing; analyze results to ensure the highest quality output.Â
- Conduct thorough program and production problem analysis to identify and resolve issues.Â
- Apply Systems Development Methodology (SDM) for designing, building, and enhancing applications.Â
- Collaborate with users and stakeholders to define system requirements, draft program specifications, and align technology solutions with business needs.Â
- Work on multiple project requests simultaneously, managing priorities and deadlines effectively.Â
- Research emerging technologies and provide recommendations for system enhancements.Â
- Coordinate system testing and assist users with acceptance testing to ensure successful implementation.Â
- Assist in the development and maintenance of data and process models.Â
- Participate in developing work plans and organizing project resources for optimal performance.Â
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peersÂ
- Perform unit and integration testing and develop automated test casesÂ
- Troubleshoot and debug software issuesÂ
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software developmentÂ
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred).Â
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in programming applications and developing custom solutions.Â
- Working experience with ServiceNowÂ
- Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) & ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) (OR 2 years reciprocal experience with ServiceNow)
- Experience implementing and integrating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) softwareÂ
- Extensive experience with relational databases and SQL.Â
- Proven ability to plan, design, develop, and maintain web-based and client-server applications.Â
- Experience with system analysis, design, and project management, with a detailed knowledge of application development and implementation.Â
- Strong documentation skills, with experience documenting test conditions, analyzing test results, and troubleshooting application issues.Â
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.Â
- Strong understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structuresÂ
- Experience with Agile development methodologiesÂ
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsÂ
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust ClearanceÂ
Preferred Qualifications:
- Nuvolo Clinical EAM Platform experience – Strongly preferredÂ
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java or C#Â
- Experience with web development frameworks such as Angular or ReactÂ
- NoSQL experience
- VA or VHA experienceÂ
