The Role

The Corporate Services Learning and Development team, in partnership with key stakeholders and business partners, builds holistic learning solutions that optimize associate performance. We drive a culture of learning through creating digital, modern learning experiences for our stakeholders, instructional design of onboarding and rotation programs, and implementation of learning platforms and tools aligned to the enterprise.

The Development Lead will:

• Represent the L&D team in all technology related enterprise efforts which include recommendations of learning environments, skills-based platforms, accessibility, and vendor product reviews.
• Be responsible for building and executing against the technical learning roadmap for the corporate functions to support current and future learning needs.
• Consult on and enable the design, development, and implementation of learning solutions for corporate services' key stakeholders.
• Provide direction and guidance to the L&D team to determine which tools, applications and platforms should be used for learning solutions (SumTotal, NovoEd, Degreed, Artemis) and ensure compliance with enterprise standards, governance, and practices.
• Upskill team members on production techniques.
• Conduct market reviews to ensure that L&D solutions are current and aligned with industry best practices.
• Manage resources to help optimize and operationalize learning delivery (licenses, tools, templates, source files, standards, process, and documentation)
• May oversee the work of L&D contractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of learning technology-based solutions.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology, Computer Science, or related work experience
• Must have experience in instructional design and/or educational technology.
• Experience in financial services industry preferred.
• 6+ yrs. experience designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions. Direct experience with L&D's suite of authoring tools or comparable required (Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Dreamweaver, Captivate, DomiKnow, NovoEd, Camtasia, Vyond)
• Ability to work with our learning management system (LMS) and learning platforms to deliver learning solutions in ways that can be tracked and evaluated required.
• Experience building accessible experiences preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly establish and maintain credibility and effective working relationships across multiple levels of the organization.
• Requires excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and simplify concepts for others required.
• Strong organizational skills and comfortable with changing priorities required.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to oversee simultaneous development projects required.
