Development Manager
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support the organization's mission and goals
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners
- Write grant proposals and manage the grant application process
- Manage donor databases and ensure accurate and up-to-date donor records
- Conduct market research to identify new funding opportunities
- Plan and execute fundraising events, including logistics, marketing, and donor stewardship
- Utilize Raiser's Edge or similar software to track donations, generate reports, and analyze fundraising data
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop public relations materials and promote fundraising initiatives
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial projections
- Oversee data collection and analysis to measure the effectiveness of fundraising efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nonprofit management, business administration)
- Proven experience in nonprofit development, including grant writing, proposal writing, and donor cultivation
- Strong knowledge of databases and data management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in WordPress or similar content management systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: $97,384.00 - $109,057.00 per year
